QURBANI MEAT DISTRIBUTION FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE GAZA STRIP

For the smile of the poor and the joy of the needy in the besieged Gaza, Islamic Society of Jabalia launches qurbani campaign 1443 H – 2022 "Enjoy the Real Taste the Eid". Your Qurbani is happiness to those who struggled.

The sacrifice is one of the rituals of Islam. It brings the person offering the sacrifice close to Allah during the days of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. Enjoy the Real Taste of the Eid campaign is project through which the Islamic Society of Jabalia City annually distributes fresh Qurbani meat to the poorest families in the Gaza Strip, during the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha, on behalf of the sacrificed.

This campaign contributes to achieving a basic ritual of our Islamic religion representing: (slaughter sacrifices) and strengthens social solidarity with the Palestinian people living in harsh circumstances. This campaign aims to provide 10,000 needy families in the Gaza Strip with fresh Qurbani meat after slaughtering and packing it healthily during the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha. It helps to alleviate the psychological and financial suffering of not being able to provide basic food supplies to their families due to poverty, unemployment, and the siege and to enhance their joy of the Eid. Your Qurbani is their happiness.

It is especially important to increase our rewards during these uncertain times. While your first Qurbani is an obligation, your second Qurbani is a Sadaqah, and it is essential to give Sadaqah during times of crisis. The Prophet (saw) said, ‘Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity’.
